Looking forward for this year’s Boat Cruise in Venice

As I did always in the last 10 years, I will also this year doing a boat cruise! After a long time planning, organizing, booking the boat, fixing time-tables, figure out what transport-system we could use (cross fingers it is the train in Italy), I’m ready do go!

Sailing on the Baltic Sea

In 2011 I had the chance to do a sailing-cruise with my little sister and my brother-in-law. My dad was also a part of the crew.

Nice memories again!

LeBoat Chablis Tour

It was our fifth trip! And it was marvelous.

We had some new crew-members and some who came after a break back to the boat.

At the end we met also „Spiderman“ who parked the ship into a really small parking-space and jumped from one punt to the next…

Hiking in Ireland

After two years of only hiking in UK we thought it would be a great idea to visit also Ireland. Well I didn’t do so much during the year, so I was very unfit and cheated often and used the short way.

The train-journey from Waterford to Limerick was a nightmare. After asking 5 different conductors we arrived Limerick-junction and still we didn’t know where to go.

Two minutes before we should leave, we could jump to the train we left 20 minutes before. Well thanks to the swiss-public-traffic.

Cornwall

In 2004 it was a pleasure to do this hiking tour with my colleague from the office Martin and my best buddy Paddy. From Newquay to Falmouth 220 km to walk, to chafe, to sweat, to drink and last but not least, to enjoy everyday.

After two weeks I lost a working colleague, but I get another best-buddy…

In 2003 some friends and I did the West-Highland-Way, which is 90 miles long (150Km). Seven days walking, climbing, hiking. Being tired in the evening and always ready for a good scottish beer.
